The Virgin Islands Lottery generates money that helps a broad array of causes. Revenue collected from the lottery has a positive effect on the community. For example, three of the major programs it benefits include:

1.  Education Initiative Fund which goes towards funding various progams within the public schools.

2.  Pharmaceutical Assistance Program which helps with the purchase of medication for senior citizens.

3.  General Fund which is the Government's Treasury.
