VI Lottery's "Make A Difference Pillars:"

In the past fiscal years the VI Lottery supported numerous programs which have a positive impact on our community and were in accord with our “Make A Difference Pillars.  We look forward to doing the same in the upcoming fiscal year.

The Executive Director of the Virgin Islands Lottery, Mr. Raymond J. Williams, would like to welcome you to the VI Lottery's Sponsorship and Funding Request Program. In accord with our "Make a Difference Pillars," the VI Lottery continues to contribute to numerous community programs and organizations throughout the territory. Applications are accepted on a first come first serve basis until the budgeted allotment for the fiscal year funds are exhausted. 
Please be advised that donations are not available for individuals, but for organizations only. Funding requests above $1000.00 are considered grants and will require certain documentation in order for your request to be considered. A formal letter on letterhead, addressed to Mr. Raymond J. Williams, Executive Director, asking for a donation is also required.  Click on the button on the right to apply for Sponsorship and Funding.  Please note that completion of this form does not guarantee that Virgin Islands Lottery will fulfill this request.  Applications must be submitted 90 days prior to the scheduled date of the event. Applications received after this timeframe may be denied.

Each year the VI Lottery makes significant financial contributions to organizations within our community.  We appreciate your understanding and will always seek to serve you better.

Required Documentation:

  1. 501(c)3 Non-Profit Certification
  2. Current Certificate of Good Standing (certification must be dated within one (1) year from the date of sponsorship application submission)
  3. Cover Letter (addressed to Mr. Raymond Williams)
  4. Signed VI Lottery Community Enrichment Rules & Regulations Document (found on our website)

Who will be funded?

Organizations: non-profit, educational institutions, private or government agency, clubs/associations. VI Lottery does not provide funding directly to individuals; must be an established organization.

The VI Lottery does not fund:

  1. Completed or in progress projects.
  2. Awardees that have not submitted Final Reports.
  3. Awardees that have already received funding once in a fiscal year.
  4. Church organizations unless entity is performing an outreach service which benefits a significant number (250 or more) of community members.
  5. Raffles or auctions (i.e. donation of lottery tickets as a prize).
